Lisa, a displaced Colorado native, spent 14 years in Europe where she worked as a consultant and received extensive training as a tea sommelier. After moving to Ann Arbor, she opened TeaHaus, a loose leaf tea store and cafe/restaurant in 2007. It was a busy week, holding her 3-day-old baby and chasing her 2-year-old son! Since then, Lisa has used her tea wall as her spice cabinet, adding tea to nearly every savory and sweet item on her menu. She also has consulted with head chefs and mixologists at some of the finest bars and restaurants in the area to help them incorporate tea in their menu and--even more fun--their cocktails! Lisa also owns Eat More Tea, which sells tea-infused spice blends for the everyday chef. Meanwhile, her kids, now 12 and 14, don't ask what's for dinner, but what tea is in dinner?!
